Back in 2019, a friend introduced me to synthwave. It felt like I had finally found something I had been looking for my whole life. I liked it so much I started to seriously entertain the idea of getting into music production just to make my own tracks one day, but I kept putting off the idea for various reasons.

I finally had the chance to take music production a bit more seriously during 2020. My original objective was to produce just one track and have it released on Spotify and other services by the end of the year, mostly as a proof of concept thing. Knowing absolutely nothing about music production, I took it as a challenge and by June, I had gotten a bit carried away and had a finished EP on my hands instead. Well, on my hard drive - you get it. By July, The Debut was available on Spotify and other platforms - it would've been on Bandcamp too if I had known about it at the time!

It's been a year since I released my EP and now, after receiving quite a few positive comments and constant suggestions to put my music on Bandcamp, I've finally worked up the courage to release it through here. I hope you enjoy listening to The Debut just as much as I enjoyed working on it. It was quite a learning experience and the end result really, really means a lot to me. Cheers!
